Finance Executive - Noida

This position reports to the Sr. Finance Executive.

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Finance Executive to join our finance team at Noida. Individuals who are eager to develop their skills in financial analysis, reporting, and operational finance within a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Junior Finance Executive, you will assist to central finance team in various financial activities and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.


Responsibilities


Primary responsibility would be Invoice Checking & Verification-Ensure accuracy and completeness of invoices with respect to GST, HSN codes, billing name and address. Apart from the primary responsibility, the below are the other job responsibilities:


  • Employee Reimbursements-Review and verify employee reimbursement claims in accordance with company policies. Check supporting bills and ensure correct amounts are claimed.
  • Purchase Order Preparation-Create and maintain purchase orders in line with procurement requirements.
  • Fixed Asset (FA) Sheet Management-Prepare and maintain fixed asset sheets including serial numbers and relevant details.
  • Weekly Reporting-Compile and submit weekly reports of processed invoices and employee reimbursements.
  • Filing & Coordination of Hardcopy Bills-Organize and maintain physical files of invoices, agreements, and related documents.
  • Verify the applicability of lower deduction tax certificates and ensure proper documentation.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards.
  • Support in the analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in the month-end close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial insights and provide support for decision-making processes.
  • Help maintain and update financial policies and procedures to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities to enhance financial acumen and technical skills.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship or relevant experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and analysis techniques.
  • Experience with accounting software such as Tally, XERO or similar.

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and advanced functions.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting tools and software.
  • Understanding of data analysis and visualization tools.
