Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Active Directory (AD) account creation, Windows and Linux installations, Firewall, switches and network troubleshooting. assisting with system setups, resolving technical issues, and supporting network-related problems within the organization.
Detailed Role & Responsibilities:
- Windows and Linux Installation:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Perform system updates, patch management, and software installation on both OS platforms.
- Support users with OS-specific issues and provide guidance on best practices for system use.
- Active Directory Management:
- Create, modify, and disable user accounts in Active Directory (AD).
- Manage and assign permissions, group policies, and access rights.
- Network Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, including LAN/WAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi.
- Work with network tools (e.g., ping, traceroute, nslookup) to identify and address network performance issues.
- User Support and IT Service Desk:
- Sophos Firewall Management and Maintenance:
- Configure, manage, and monitor Sophos Firewall for network security and protection.
- Perform routine firewall updates, rule configuration, and ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve firewall-related issues, ensuring uninterrupted secure access.
- Analyze traffic logs and security events to detect vulnerabilities and security risks.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of working experience in the IT infra field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired.
- Provide technical support to internal users on hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving end-user issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Document solutions and issues in the service desk system.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, network diagrams, and issue resolutions.
