Arrise powering Pragmatic Play is looking to hire Senior Infrastructure Engineer, The team deals with infrastructure provisioning automation, configuration management, tool administration, production system support, application environment maintenance, observability, and internal tool development for efficient handling of the aforementioned activities. You will be actively involved in all aspects of the team activities
Qualifications:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer
What you will need -
- B.E/B.Tech or any other similar qualification
- 7-12 years of experience in software engineering comprising designing, developing, and operating robust and highly scalable cloud infrastructure services
- Hands-on experience with handling Infrastructure on AWS / Google Cloud Platform(GCP) / Datacenter or similar cloud/on-premise platforms.
- Experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting of Java applications in production
- Experience in maintaining cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using terraform or equivalent
- Experience with continuous integration, deployment, and orchestration technologies (e.g., Github, Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins or equivalents )
- Experience in enterprise networking / AWS cloud networking (e.g. setting up and managing firewalls, WAFs, network segregation, VPNs and network ACLs, authentication & authorization services, identity & access management)
- Knowledge of cybersecurity practices, operations, risk management processes, threats, and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies
- Maintenance and development of monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced shell scripting knowledge
- Past experience with startups and fast paced environments is an added advantage
- Good to have:
- Experience in DevOps, CI/CD, Configuration, and Release Management areas and relevant tools
- Expertise in scripting languages: Python / Groovy / Ruby or equivalent
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible to-
- Standardize, automate the provisioning, and support aspects as reusable cloud services and interfaces
- Develop infrastructure as code on AWS / Azure / GCP using best practices and implementations for nonproduction and production environments
- Implement automated configuration and deployment process towards improving functionality, availability, and manageability of our enterprise cloud offerings
- Lead technical operations on key initiatives or projects from requirements to design to implementation
- Ensure the availability, performance, reliability, and reporting of global cloud data centers and enterprise networks
- Improve productivity in delivery orchestration, proactive monitoring, self-healing automation, and operations validations
